Registering your venue
A venue has its own account, separate from the account you play with yourself. You register the venue once; after that you arrange everything that goes with it through the left tile at the bottom of the strip.
- 1
Create a venue account
When you create your account, choose "I have a venue". You can't change that choice later; to play yourself, use a separate musician account with a different email address.
- 2
Tap "Register my venue"
You fill in three things: the name and what kind of venue it is, the address, and a contact person. The contact person is only for Jamfinder; musicians don't see that name.
- 3
Check the address
After registering you see which address we found on the map. If it's wrong, tap "Not right, change address": a venue that isn't on the map doesn't appear in musicians' agendas. Musicians see this address as a pin on a small map of the province, with your venue on the jam page.
- 4
Make the venue recognisable
Tap the left tile at the bottom of the strip and choose "Venue details". There you add a logo and photos of the inside and outside, and fill in how many people fit, whether there's a grand piano or a piano, and which backline is always there.
- 5
Who manages the venue
Under "Who manages this venue" you see the owner and the managers. A manager runs the jams, sees who signs up and can post photos; only the owner changes the name, address, logo and the facts. Adding or removing someone isn't possible in the app yet; email us through Help and contact.

Hand over or close
Want to stop while the jams carry on? Choose "Make someone else owner"; you stay on as a manager. "Close this venue" removes the venue and all its jams for good, and anyone who signed up for an upcoming night gets a message.
