Using the agenda
The agenda is the first screen of the app: all jams within your distance, per week. From here you open a jam or sign up straight away.
- 1
Browse by week
Swipe the week strip sideways for the next week. Tap a day with jams to see only that day, and "Show all days" to go back.
- 2
Read the line
Each line names the jam, the venue, the time and the distance. "musician wanted" means the jam is still looking for an instrument. Tap the line to open the jam.
- 3
Filter the agenda
Tap the filter icon to the right below the title. Turn on "Only where I can play" to see only jams where your instruments fit in. Below that, choose genres ("More genres" shows the rest) or the kind of night: looking for musicians, with house band, covers welcome. The number next to a kind tells you how many jams you'll see; the number on the icon how many filters are on. "Clear" removes them.
- 4
Nothing nearby?
Under "Nearest" are the jams closest to you, even outside your distance. "See them all" sets your distance to 100 km.
- 5
Tell me when a jam appears
If there's nothing near you, this switch is on by default. You get one message as soon as a jam appears within your distance; after that it turns itself off.
- 6
Know a jam that isn't listed?
Tap Me, on the left of the strip, and choose "I know a jam". Tell us where and when it is and how we can reach the café, and we'll email them.
