Adding a regular jam
You enter a recurring night once, as a series. The nights then appear in the agenda automatically, until you stop the series or the last date has passed.
- 1
Tap "New jam"
On your venue's start page, under Series; if you don't have a series yet, the button is called "Post first session". You start with a name and, if you like, a short description.
- 2
Choose how often and from when
"Every week", "Every other week", "Monthly" or "One-off". For monthly you choose the week and the day, such as the second Thursday; for a weekly series the day is taken from the date of the first night. With "Ends on a date" you set a last night.
- 3
Start time and length
You choose what time it starts and whether it lasts 2, 3 or 4 hours. If you chose a different length before, it stays as an extra option.
- 4
Instruments and genres
Tap an instrument once for welcome and once more for wanted; wanted instruments get a badge in the agenda. Choose at least one genre, or you can't continue.
- 5
How does the night work?
Three switches: "There is a house band", "No covers" and "Signing up in advance is required". Under "Entry" you choose "Free", "An amount" or "Voluntary contribution". It then shows on the jam page. If you leave it empty, the app says nothing about it.
- 6
Tap "Post the jam"
After a check of everything you filled in. There's no separate publishing step: the nights are in your agenda straight away, up to six months ahead, and on jamfinder.nl within an hour. With "Share this jam" you pass it on.
