Notifications and messages
Jamfinder sends a message when something changes about a night you signed up for, when someone asks you to be friends, when there's a reply to something you sent in, and once a week an overview. Everything you receive, you can also look back at in the app. Messages come in the language you chose in the app.

Turn on push notifications
Tap Me, on the left of the strip, choose Settings and tap "Turn on notifications". If you refused before, "Open in your settings" takes you to your phone's settings. After your profile questions, the app asks whether you want notifications. If they're still off after that, it asks once more when you sign up for a jam, and a card on your agenda shows the same button. If you put it off on the card, the card goes away.

Notifications in the room
If you're called to the stage, or there's a spot for you, your phone makes a sound and vibrates. If you don't answer a call, it sounds again every half minute, until you answer or the song starts. If your phone is on silent, it stays silent and you only feel the vibration. The other messages, like the reminder and the weekly message, come in without sound. In the room a message appears at the top of the screen. After a few seconds it becomes a dot; tap it to read it again.

Read your notifications
Tap the notifications tile on the right of the strip. At the top it says "Nothing new" or how many are new since yesterday. Tap a notification to open the jam; a friend request opens Friends.
- 4
The reminder
About a day before a night you signed up for, you get a message with the time and the place.
- 5
The weekly message
On Thursday morning you get an overview of the jams within your distance for the next seven days. If there's nothing, you get no message.
- 6
No notifications for now
Turn this switch on in Settings if you don't want to receive anything for a while. You then get no push, no reminder and no weekly message.
