This week near you

Jamfinder needs you

Know a jam that belongs here? Pass it on, and it will be there for everyone.

How you play along

  1. Find a jam

See what is on nearby. Choose the night that suits you.

  2. Sign up

Say which instrument you are bringing and see who else is coming.

  3. Check in and play

Scan the QR code at the bar. The host knows you are there.

Know when it's your turn.

No need to keep asking when it is your turn. The host puts the line-up together and your phone tells you when to get ready.

Scan at the bar. Play along.

Made it? Scan the QR code on the poster and check in. The host sees you are in the room and can put you on a song.

Checking in: 3 steps

Step 1 of 3

Scan the code at the bar

Open your phone's camera, or choose ‘Scan the code at the bar’ at the jam in the app. Point your camera at the QR poster.

Do you organise a jam?

  • Have a venue?

Put your regular night in the app once. Or let us add it for you.

  • Do you host a jam?

See who is coming beforehand. In the room you call up the next group with one tap.

  • No jam near you yet?

Start one yourself. We write the proposal for the owner of your local bar.

Play along

At every jam you see who is already coming and which instrument is still wanted. Nothing near you yet? You'll hear as soon as a jam appears.

Still have a question?

A few answers before you start.

What does Jamfinder cost?

Nothing. The app is free for musicians and for venues, without ads.

Why can't I sign up through the website?

Signing up is tied to a person, and everything tied to a person is only in the app, behind a login. The website only shows published sessions and the business details of venues.

What data do you keep about me?

Your email address, your name, your town and your instruments. Never your home address. Photos and links to your music are optional. The database is in the EU.

I have a café. How do I put my jam on Jamfinder?

Create an account in the app and choose "I have a venue". Do you play yourself too? Then use a different email address from your musician account. Enter your regular jam once; it's on the site within an hour.
