This is an English translation. The Dutch version of these terms is the binding one; where the two differ, the Dutch text applies. These are the agreements between you and Jamfinder when you use the app or the website. We've kept them as short and readable as we could. If anything is unclear, ask us through a help request.
1.What this applies to
These terms apply to the Jamfinder app for iPhone and Android and to the website jamfinder.nl. By creating an account you agree to them.
Jamfinder is a service of Jamfinder, based in the Netherlands. You can send questions or comments through the contact form at jamfinder.nl/contact.
2.Your account
You create one account with your email address. One musician profile is attached to that account. You're responsible for what happens with your account; don't share your password.
You must be 16 or older to create an account.
3.What you do and don't do
You use Jamfinder to find jam sessions, to sign up and, if you manage a venue, to post sessions. You don't sign up for nights you won't come to, and you don't post sessions that don't exist.
You don't post content that is offensive, infringes the rights of others, or is meant to advertise anything other than the jam session itself.
4.Venues and sessions
A venue is a separate entry with a name and a business address, which is public. Whoever creates a venue declares that they are authorised to represent it.
Published sessions are public and appear on the website. The venue is responsible for the accuracy of the day, time and description, and for cancelling in good time.
5.Your content
What you post stays yours. You give Jamfinder the right to show it in the app and on the website, for as long as you leave it up.
We don't host video or audio; links to YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud fall under the terms of those services.
6.Liability
Jamfinder brings people and stages together, but is not a party to what happens on a night. A session may be cancelled, a room may be full. We're not liable for that.
We do our best to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee it.
7.Closing your account and changes
You can always delete your account yourself in Settings. If you're the only owner of a venue, hand it over first, or its agenda disappears.
We may change these terms. When there's a new version, you see it in the app before you continue. If you keep using Jamfinder, the new version applies.
